Anyone know anything about the Sidekick3 Mobile

My niece is looking for one of these phones for Christmas (I know very early to be even thinking about). My sis has checked but they seem to be available in UK on T. Mobile or for ordering from the USA. Does anyone know if this will become available in Ireland or if my sis was to order from UK/ USA and buy an unlocked one…
