That's what I'm getting, I think, but very open to persuasion if anybody has any good ideas ;)
Can go up to around 1250 for it!
(and this is set out to be a purely gaming PC, with possibility of future upgrades!)
    Thanks!

Well no offence but you don't have to go ANYWHERE near 1250 for a TOP TOP gaming rig these days, This pc im linking is just as good and only comes in at 750, *650* if you take a worse box.

Note tho it's without a monitor and OS

    System: INTEL Core 2 Quad Q9450 2.67GHz
    Equipment:

    - ASUS P5N-D nForce 750i SLI
    - NVidia GeForce 9800GTX 512MB
    - 750GB SATA2 HDD Samsung
    - 4GB 800MHz RAM Kingston
    - LG GH20LS 20x DVD-RW SecurDisc
    - A-DIS X-Cruiser Midi-Tower: € 0.00
    - Cooler Master CPU cooler
    - 600W Power | 12cm Fan
    - Realtek ALC888 7.1 Audio
    - Gigabit Ethernet LAN DSL Ready

The gfx card is insane good basically an overclocked 8800gts

It's sli ready so if you do feel in a year or two you need to upgrade stick in another card and 4 more gigs of ram, but this machine will play everygame at top frame rates in 1024, on high :D
+ the case you get for the 750 quid is really tasty. hope all goes will with new rig mate

save the 500 odd then for something nice.
