Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi, I wanna buy my brother a membership to a rugby club. I googled a few things there and nothing good came up. He lives on the South Circular road so any suggestions of clubs that are fairly decent and aren't too far away would be great!

    South Circular road in Limerick?
    you've three close by options, Garryowen, Young Munster and Old Crescent. Three very different clubs.

    What is he looking to get out of the membership? Gym facilities? A decent bar? Playing at a decent level? International tickets?

    Sorry its in Dublin.

    I'm not too sure what he would like to get out of it. Suppose access to the gym and some training. He wouldn't be too serious about it.

    To be honest, it's the kind of thing he'd need to pick himself. We might all suggest a club, and he might hate it. It's very much a personal thing. Different clubs have different ethos/style of doing things and while it might suit some of us, it may not suit your brother.

    I'd suggest you get him to investigate them himself and come back to you that way he and you know better what he's getting from it.

    Well it would be your best bet I think. I know if someone got me membership with a few clubs around I'd be very unhappy, but unless they asked me first they'd never realise that.
