    first not sure if this is the right forum.
    have a truck running on 24volts with a reducer to 12 volts the problem is with the radio, if i turn it up too loud (not ear shattering)
    the power goes for a couple of seconds. now is this a radio, converter or fuse problem????:confused:

    If you can put a multimeter on the transformer and watch the voltage as you turn up the volume... It may well be that the unit is drawing too much current for the capacity of the transformer, you will see the voltage drop off if this is the case...

    What speakers are you running ? If you have huge wattage you may need an amp to supliment the power drain...
