    ^^^^ Seen a brown one of those a couple of times around Longford 79 LD something or other.

    Used to use them as taxis round my old home town.

    There was a Toyota Crown going around Granard about 2 years ago, maybe that was it.

    There is one of them in Terenure, I took a picture of it a few months back:

    There is also an old German reg. estate model of these near DIT Kevin Street. I'll have to get a picture of it sometime soon.

    The Passat saloon was called a Santana,I like it's clean design.
    VW in China still make it as a VW Santana 3000 - http://vwgazette.blogspot.com/2007/11/shanghai-vw-upgrades-santana-3000-for.html ,
    Nissan also sold it in Japan and Ford sold it in Argentina / Brazil
