Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You may see a performance drop alright but that might be because you'll be running directx 10 games in directx10 which sacrafices fps for other stuff such as looking prettier etc.

I have a fairly similar setup and noticed only a slight drop in fps in most games which i imagine wass mainly due to less mature drivers. That was 2 years ago now though so probably not a real issue anymore. You will probably see an improvement of load times etc for regularly played games.

Long story short you shouldn't feel a huge hit one way or another but i would advise getting a 64bit version to fully utilise all your memory.

vista 64-bit now! i was annoyed when i found out your license doesnt cover both 32 and 64 bit (or does it? anyone)

If its a retail licence it DOES cover both - for Home Premium and above anyway. I don't think basic is available in 64-bit. I've no idea what the story is with OEM licences.
