Internet Radio (wifi)

For some reason the radio reception in my house is dreadful but as I have broadband and a wireless router I think that an internet radio would be the job for me.

Don't need anything fancy just for listening to talk radio, the likes of Radio 1, Newstalk etc.

Something like this Logik IR-100 would probably fit the bill. It's working out at around €75 inc. postage.

Or this Freecom MusicPal which is about €100 all in.

Anyone know of a better/cheaper option? I remember Aldi did one about this time last year I think it was about €100 then, anyone know if it is coming up again, hopefully cheaper?

    Thanks

    D-M.

I got this one in Maplin-

It was 82.50 I think. Its ideal for what you want. Volume doesn't go too high and sound is ok, but I find it great for the kitchen. I have trouble tuning normal radio stations in where I live. I have had no problems with it, but at least if you buy from a real shop you can eaily bring it back if you have any trouble

Thanks K, but I am looking for something independant of the PC so I can listen in the kitchen and upstairs.

I'm thinking about getting a s/h wifi pda and streaming with that, maybe with some small add-on speakers for better sound. Has anyone done this? At least that way I figure I would have a small net browser for the money rather than just a radio.
