i think juice may have actually turned, that bloodbath seemed to really affect him

whether it's permanent or not we don't know, but it certainly seemed genuine.

There is no way in hell that Clay will get killed. The show is planned for 7 series, its only mid way through. Also thought this weeks episode was slow, and the introduction of Jax's ex was a waste of screen time, however reading the other posters thoughts it makes sense.

I think that the stroy with Juice is going to get bigger. We know that Sutter likes his big twists and I think the Juice storyline could be part of that. Why did he continue to check in?

Because he was told if he checks in the DA will leave the sons alone and go for the Irish, but if he doesn't then they'll just settle for the sons.

I can’t see any Jax, Tara, Clay or Gemma or the kids being killed especially if there are 3 more seasons to go. I can’t see Juice or Tig being killed. Juice is seems to be forming some sort of bond with the cop and that looks like it will run past this season. Tig hasn’t played a massive role in this season and his daughter was introduced for no real reason so it’s possible he is going to have bigger contact with his kids in the next season. I think Bobby might be the one who doesn’t see another season. It’s possible Otto may kill him in the prison face to face meeting he wants arranged or its possible Bobby ends up in jail for killing Lu-ann or the porn guy they killed last night, and then in jail Otto manages to get to him and kill him. Hard to imagine Otto given up the club, he has nothing to live for so I could see him killing Bobby in a final swan-song. Also who is the prisoner that Otto wants to have privileges restored to is he SOA ?
I don’t think the DA will get enough information to make a move on anyone this season so I can see him progress into the next season with the cop and Juice.
Jax or Opie have to kill Clay, but if Clay is gone who is in charge? Jax won’t be leaving so it’s possible that Tara will become more involved. She has already been kidnapped once with a second attempt and she shot the guy who was stalking her so she is tough enough to become more consumed by the club and she may have lost her doctor job with the hand injury. I think Wendy will catch a bullet with Tara’s name on it to appease the Cartel.
For Clay to survive Opie will have to agree that he is more important alive. Opie will probably go to Jax and Jax will agree Clay needs to be killed but only when the time is right. I agree with other posters that killing Clay with IRA/Cartel stuff happening won’t be good. The only way apart from that is that Clay gets arrested for Piney’s murder or something else or goes on the run and I can’t see him running. More likely he goes into the new series with a target on him to be killed when Jax/Opie know the time is right. Of course it is possible that they kill Clay and tell the Cartel and the IRA to deal direct and that SAMCRO are out of gun business although the IRA don’t seem keen on the Cartel. Prehaps the DA captures the IRA, the supply of guns collapses and the Cartel move somewhere else.
So many possibilities. Although I can’t see the Tara/Wendy lesbo angle. :D
    Maybe Wendy and Gemma?

I think Clay is getting near his 'best before' date and will not last too much longer. Maybe he'll get sent down rather than killed, but either way the leadership will be up for grabs/debate.
Don't see the relevance of the junkie ex coming back yet, but I'm sure there is one.

I think the cartel/Irish connection is being over-done - especially with the war zone shoot outs and I'm not looking forward to the return of terrible Irish accents but at least they can't mess up the locations this time as the Irish are visiting California this time.

I can see Clay going on the run.

I can see Clay going on the run.

Not his style. He didnt know Jax wasnt going to come after him all guns blazing when he saw his mother. Gemma did threaten to tell Jax everything during their altercation at the house, she knows about Piney, she could have easily said that to Opie, she could easily have told Jax about the 'hit' on Tara. Clay doesnt give a sh1t. He will face it rather than run from it. Old guy like him is not in any position to run especially with his hands etc.

its really 60 minutes without the ads

I would have never thought SOA has more viewers than Dexter in the Us

Yep. The americans love their adverts. 30 minutes of adverts in a 90 minute slot. Ouch.

46 minutes 29 seconds for me.

It's sitting here on my machine in work, I've been tempted to watch it about 80984390875039485 times so far today, but gonna leave it for at home later with the old lady on the big screen.

There's no way Jax can try and save clay in the next episode. Hopefully opie plugs him a few more times

I have no doubt that Clay is wearing a bullet proof vest or something after Gemma warned him at the hospital.

Yeah, not sure whats up with that, I read it last week in this interview:

    Something in Tara has snapped

Damn my heart is racing after that. Awesome. I don;t think Clay was wearing a vest, there was blood

From what I could see Clay was shot in the shoulder, Don't think Opie got a fatal shot in there. And to be honest I don't want Clay to die just yet, he's stealing the show at the minute.

As long as the topic contains the word "Spoilers", there is no need for spoiler tags for episodes that have aired.

Clay took one to the right shoulder, the other one is in his left lung, that's not good.
The punchup in the baby factory was superb, and Tig got in another great quote when Clay asked him where everybody was.

Looking forward to the last two episodes, this series is shaping up to be the equal of the second series. Fantastic.

He got both to the lungs.. left and right.. my guess he'll be hospitalised and will probably die towards the end.

I applaud your use of screencap and the red circles to illustrate your point.
    Bravo.

Just about sums it up. Just finished that episode now and what an ending. Can't even begin to think what's coming next.

  • Registered Users Posts: 867 ✭✭✭sundula

Wow, never saw that coming. Thought Clay would get out of trouble till next season at least. If you watch promo for next weeks episode it looks
intially as if Clay is alive, looks like he could make it hospital. His shooting would defo lead to the collapse of the big meet at the reservation.

  • Registered Users Posts: 55,501 ✭✭✭✭Mr E

Please use SPOILER tags for future episodes.
A lot of people don't watch promos and would like to watch new episodes spoiler-free.

  • Registered Users Posts: 867 ✭✭✭sundula

Sorry. ;), next weeks episode cant come soon enough.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 845 ✭✭✭red dave

damn... I thought that was a weak episode :(

The pacing of it seemed a bit off. Ope waiting until the next morning to go to Gemma's. He should have just called Clay on his mobile to ask where he was because Clay didn't know Ope found out.

I was expecting the last 4 mins of the episode to be dealt with at the start of the ep I guess.

I'd be raging if I had to watch that episode spread over 90mins. Clocked in for me at 46mins

Though I'm looking forward to the next episode of course.

Yes that episode did move at a slower pace to the rest of the season so far. I suppose it was putting all the ducks in a row for the finale. Didnt think Otto would come through for the DA but the info he gave must be water tight for the DA to give the go to move on the club. Interesting to see how he finishes out the show - suicide, a hit or execution as per his sentence. I could see him commit suicide.
Club are really short on members at the moment, particularly if a couple more get killed or get jail. Next season may see a recruitment drive.

Regretting watching the promo for next week now and would advise anyone else not to watch it.

But now that I have watched it...
I think it looks like Clay is dead. Jacks does call for an ambulance with Clay in the background but that looks like it's in the clubhouse. The earlier shot of Clay sitting on the ground looks like it's in Clays home and he looks dead there.
