Any idea why the DA is interested in Hale's development?

As he says himself he is a curious guy, did you catch that he called the mayor, Mayor Quimby. Brilliant.

    In relation to Otto flipping.
I think that he has probably linked Bobby Elvis to crimes that he had on his list already. The feds just havent done thier research yet. So he'll walk free and Otto gets what he wants.
At least that's what I hope has happened.

i hope that's not the case, sounds too similar to last seasons samcro get out of jail free trick

The DA is very clever, i doubt Otto got away with giving them rubbish, just before he signed it he pause and took a deep breath, I would say the information he gave is exactly what DA wanted.

    From the promo
It looks to me as if Cley is Dead and Unser is setting it up to look like a hit. Jax can be clearly heard blaming Cleys attack on Leroy. It then appears as if Tig, probably feeling guilty for turn his back on Cley and handing in the Sgt Patch, heads off solo to avenge Cley, my guess is the DA stops the case as he cant get the Cartel, SAMCRO and the IRA, carrying it forward to next year. Maybe Ottos info is enough to see Bobby stay behind bars.

There is a guy in the promo clip at around the 10 sec mark, he is very upset looking - who is he ?

Not sure I like the pension plan and the hours are a bit unsocial, that said there is currently plenty of opportunities for promotion at the moment and use of a company truck. What they real need is some union involvement as they are not real an equal opportunity employer.

I never thought of that as I was thinking of riding big bikes, riding doirty porn stars, shooting big guns, drinking whiskey neat and gun battles in the California sun!!

But your right union involvement would be very important in this day and age

    :)

I suppose when you'd draw up your list then the bikes, the birds, recreational violence and the whiskey would all be the plus side.

Its about the 12 second mark actually
After Jax tells the Cartel they may have a snitch, I think its Opie at the cabin after finding Piney.

Good episode... some great acting.... especially from Clay Jax and Opie

was good to see Bobby get angry too... he's been too quiet for a long time
looks like a few more charters get called in next week

I wonder is that girls that gets smashed through the widow Tara?

My guess is Wendy from the style of dress but it might be no one at all, in the promo it looks like Leroy is walking through the same window at about 7 seconds into promo clip

The music is fantastic in this show. What a song! as Jax chases after Opie in the hearse. The sound tracks for the other season are great too.

I'm not too sure if I got this link from someone here, or from Kurt Sutter's twitter a/c but it is a really interesting read, especially how they go about selecting the music.

'Anarchy' keeps humming with eclectic cues

    Music for Screens: Fall 2011

    By Christopher Morris
    MUS4SCRNS_legacy_sons-anarc.jpg'Sons of Anarchy'

As FX's "Sons of Anarchy" roars towards the Nov. 29 conclusion of its fourth season and guns its engine for a fifth year, the outlaw biker drama stands out as one of the most music-driven skeins on TV.From season one's intense assault sequence choreographed to Andy Williams' ballad "Can't Get Used to Losing You," several climactic scenes have pivoted on the prominent use of source music or tracks cut expressly for the show. Specific tunes are often written into the scripts by showrunner Kurt Sutter.
Music supervisor and composer Bob Thiele says, "Out of the 13 episodes we do each season, between three and five episodes will have a song noted in the script, where Kurt [says,] 'I want to use this song.' In season one, we used 'John the Revelator' [in the closing episode]. At the end of season two, he really wanted badly to use [Bruce Springsteen's] 'Adam Raised a Cain'. . .and we just could not get the turnaround, so we used [Paul Brady's cover of] 'Gimme Shelter.' Season three, we started with 'No Milk Today.'"
While about 65% of the "Sons" music is source material (cleared by supervisor Michelle Kuznetsky), the show regularly employs a house band, the Forest Rangers. The group includes Thiele and top players like guitarists Dave Kushner of Velvet Revolver (who co-wrote the show theme with Thiele and Curtis Stigers), Val McCallum and Lyle Workman; bassist Davey Faragher (of Elvis Costello's Imposters); drummer Brian MacLeod (Toy Matinee); and keyboardist Phil Shenale (Tori Amos).
One "Sons" star occasionally flexes her own formidable musical chops: Katey Sagal (aka Gemma Morrow, also aka Mrs. Kurt Sutter), who began her career singing behind the likes of Bob Dylan and Bette Midler. "Kurt has her do one song every year," Thiele says.
For this season's premiere, Thiele cut a new version of a song that sported its own family ties: "What a Wonderful World," written for Louis Armstrong by his father, Bob Thiele, Sr., with George David Weiss.
Thiele notes that using the song - covered by the Kills' Alison Mosshart with the Forest Rangers -- was Sutter's idea: "It actually says in the script, 'And now our musical montage begins with a Bob Thiele, Jr., cover of a Bob Thiele, Sr., song.'"
On the source music side, the show uncovers new acts, sometimes through chance encounters. An associate turned Thiele on to Austin act the Lions, who ended up being used four times in the first season alone; Lions leader Matt Drenik's side project Battleme has also been used frequently. Singer Joshua James was found glancing through the Bonaroo festival's Web site.
Again, Sutter's fingerprints can be found on the source music.
Thiele says, "Kurt found this guy named Noah Gundersen, and sent me this song called 'Family.' He's a young guy up in Seattle who's on his own label. We ended up using it at the end of the sixth episode this year.
"Kurt came into the game going, "I don't know nothin' about music.' He's really become a connoisseur and a tastemaker."

But what if that carries over until the following week, same diff bro.

From the promo I dont think what I really want to know is going to carry over to the final episode thats just from what I saw in the promo. I do think RICO case will carry on to next season, I am guessing that the DA is going to find that the attack on Cley will mess up the meeting with the IRA and The Cartel in some way or scare both of them under ground, as the DA guy wont be able to sweep up the cartel, samcro and the IRA in one big go he may halt the case till the oportunity arises again.

I really like the DA, great actor and character. I would like to see more of him, it would be interesting to see him do a mind battle with Cley - looks like that may not happen but you never know. He is similar to the Forest Whittaker character that arrived in the Shield to nail Vic, intially that character looked rocked solid but the direct run in's with Vic broke him. It will be interesting to see if Lincoln Potter can be broke.

Bought it off eBay. Seller was in NY and had it here in 5 days. Think it was around €15 including P&P.There's loads on eBay,just search for SOA Ireland.:)

They should have chosen Full Circle by Creed as the track for the chase instead of the song they chose, the lyrics are more apt and it fits right in with the SOA style.

    Good episode.

I must admit I do just want the ****ing season to end though, a bit sick of the build up.
