FFS i had to read it lol
it wont be tig there setting up tig vs clay from the first episode when clay asked him are we cool? as he was leaving to get his daughter

"The reason why Clay is so upset about not being able to start his bike is because he can never be President, or any high ranking member of the club unless he can ride. I expect to see more struggles with him trying to get back on his bike."

I can totally see Clay purchasing Pineys old bike (three wheeler) from Opie, seeing as he's halfway to becoming him already....Delicious irony covered in awesomesauce ;)

I dont think that will happen, i think that the For Sale sign on the trike was just a little jab at how Clay could potentially get riding again.

I also get the impression that Clay is up to something...well, it's pretty obvious and he is trying to find out if Tig is on his side or not.

I may also back-track on my earlier theory on Clay recruiting the Nomads to do his dirty work. The one thing that is drawing me away from this is because in the real world of MC's, Nomad Charters dont break up.

I'm going to spoiler this new theory of mine :)
I reckon that the Nomads are being brough in to investigate the goings on at the parent charter. Thier disbanding is just a ruse to get 3 members locked in to SAMCRO. You can see at the end of ep 2, they have Clay and Gemma's marraige cert and deeds from the safe. So they are doing some digging around. To further this theory, a new character, who will be the president of the Nomads will be coming into the show later in the season.
SAMCRO are breaking the clubs rules by running drugs, it would normally be the parent charter that would investigate that type of thing.....much like when SAMCRO found thier other charter dealing and stopped it. So the Nomads would probably be the likliest candidate to investigate the parent charter. That could be the end of SAMCRO

If that does happen, scheisse will hit the fan.

    that was fu**ed.
had a lot invested in that character, the only one i wanted to have some sort of happy ending, but he didn't even get to avenge his wife or his old man.

and would anyone of missed Chibs?

Wow, i knew Sutter was pulling out all the stops but that was just horrific, theres gonna have to be some kind of rampage coming

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,235 ✭✭✭caspa307

the final blow was actually sick

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,754 ✭✭✭lertsnim

I would never have guessed that would have happened in a million years. The final blow was absolutely horrible. The face on the guard when Jax told him that he would find him and kill him was wonderful.

    An absolutely amazing episode

No which is why they went for maximum emotional carnage for both the characters and the audience by picking who they did.

Thought for sure it would be Unser never Opie :(

Liked how Tara stood up to Gemma and Wendy

Well yes, of course that's why.
Still think it's a totally premature move that could turn a lot of people off. There's not many likeable characters on the show or people to root for. Of which Ope was both.
When is Jax going to grow a backbone, and you know make a decision once in a while?

Anyway, Gemma, she's jumped the shark big time. That whole sequence with the whore was just dumb. She'll probably run off with Opie's kids now or something equally as stupid
'but my husband might' - g'wan Tara!!

I feel emotionally exhausted after that episode. Amazing episode but glad i have a week to recover.

Don't thing there is a need to spoiler tag all the comments, "Spoilers" is in the thread title... Unless its about an episode that hasen't aired yet.

Never guessed it would be Ope, was nearly certain it would be Unser with Tig left to rot in prison.
Gemma is starting to get on my nerves, acting almost like a spoiled brat. But Clay's smile after Gemma snapped at Tisdale's character was brilliantly funny.

On the raid of the escort service, I'm guessing Clay made an anonymous fake tip off to the police to something illegal going on there (other than the obvious) just to spite Gemma.

well, looks like i was right last week :(

honestly out of all of them i'd rather see trig go but I guess with what happened to Opie recently there was no future for him in samcro and he was the easiest to get rid of

    shame :(

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,447 ✭✭✭evil_seed

I was hoping to see more of Ashley Tisdale, if you know what I mean.

Poor Opie. He was at peace with it all in the end though from the looks of it.

wonder what the hell will happen to his kids

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,754 ✭✭✭lertsnim

I imagine they will stay with their grandmother

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,263 ✭✭✭DeWitt

What about Lyla? They didn't divorce, or did they?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,109 ✭✭✭MaxSteele

I was literally teary eyed a couple of times after letting that all sink in. :(
The look of helplessness and regret on Jax's face and the horrible wailing from Chib's just made that almost unbearable to watch.

Was hoping maybe Unser would go. I'd have loved to see Opie go on to find peace and happiness, possibly revenge too.

Seriously the most powerful episode on Sons to date. They better do right by Opie's sacrifice and run a muck throuh Pope's organnization.

Up until tonight, I always thought that if I met Sutter I would shake his hand and gush over the great job he's done with the show.

I understand why he's done what's he's done, even appreciate it on some level.

Right now though, I just want to punch him in his smug f'ing face.

In fairness, I don't think Opie as a character had much more to do, he had lost his wife & father due to the club, he also got sent to jail a few times cause of the club, it was the next step for him to give up his own life, it'll be interesting to see what happens to his kids with Gemma going through the mother-crisis thing.

I was only spoilering because I watched it live last night and didn't want to ruin it for people who were going to watch it in the morning.

Others just seemed to follow my lead :pac:

    that was something else!

I can't decide which was tougher to watch, Opie's final clubbing blow, or Tig's daughter being burned alive. Damon Pope is a bad bad man. Probably need a week to recover from that episode.

I can't believe the ep didn't end with that. That said, Jax telling the guard he was going to kill him was so intense, great acting, too numb and angry for emotion, just clear and calm "I'm going to find you and I'm going to kill you" - utterly brilliant follow on. The guards face too, phenomenal.

I think now that Jax is going to become an extremely ruthless leader for SAMCRO. This will be the incident that changes him from what he was in the 1st 4 seasons to what he will be for the final 3 (according to Sutter). When SOA is over, this episode will be the one that permanently changed Jax.
