I knew that he wrote the episode but I read awhile back that another writer came up with that scene. Can't find the article atm but it spoke about how one of the writers thought of a scene where Otto would be degraded in the worst possible way.

Really? These guys are rather tight-lipped. I can't imagine Kurt Sutter spoiling such a "highlight" ahead of the season premiere.

Didn't talk about the scene but rather was speculating on what was ahead and Otto was brought up and the whole furthur degredation was mentioned. There were no specifics or details just the mention of something horrible.

I expected the kid to be caught in a crossfire at some point.

What has everyone got against the one who brought Lyla to them?

Bridget Regan's name was in as guest star, but was she in it?

Oh and nice to see another Deadwood actor show up. :)

    Very strong opening episode imo.

It's because wherever she goes trouble quickly follows. There's also the fact that Gemma hates her so any chance to mess her up Gemma takes.

I think Bridget Regan was one of the Hooker's.

I can't remember the one who brings trouble with her. Any examples? Guess that's the problem with the porn actresses in this show. Not to sound porn actressist but they all look alike.

That could well be the school massacre. An extremely sensible issue in America. And they have exercised a remarkable graphical restraint (rather unusual by SoA standards).

SAMCRO having supplied that full-auto conversion KG-9 will blow up in their face, big time.

Considering that the scene involved Otto I'm assuming that it was the rape that was being referred to.

I don't think the shooting scene was an example of restraint but rather in light of recent events Sutter perhaps felt that showing it in detail was unnecessary and perhaps somewhat tasteless. He's always been a writer who recognised that less can be more and killing a bunch of nobodies would have no real affect on the shows followers. If it had been Oppie's kids being killed then showing the scene would make sense. People are assuming that the gun will throw the spotlight on SAMCRO but unless Nero's guy rats making the connection could be difficult. I'm assuming that the second word got out about the shooting the house was cleared of any weapons. Now the big question is did the shooter survive and will his word be enough to start a major case against Nero's gang.

I'm aware of the thread title and expect spoilers but a list of all the episodes twists is a little inconsiderate as anyone could simply click in accidently. My post was full of spoilers but none you'd pick up on based on an accidental glance.

Am I missing something here? The OP warned me of spoilers. I read the thread. Spoilers !!!!!

Few of us talk about it, OK!

Darko comes in, hides everything gone on before, goes mad about spoilers in a Spoilers Thread and gives the biggest synopisis of any thread ever.
Then gives away about what the writers are going to do.

So your issue is that I discussed the show and went into detail about it. Would you have preferred if I had simply made a list of all the major twists. I didnt hide anything, I simply put it behind a spoiler tag. I'm all for discussing a show but for the sake of people who may accidently click on the thread is there any reason why a list of mayor twists can't simply belittle behind a spoiler tag. There's a lot of people who watch the show as it airs over here and as such may not be aware that it started in the US this week. They may see the thread title and think that it's general discussion for a series yet to air. Just because you and I are watching it through the wonders of the Internet does not mean that everyone is and the title doesn't specify if this thread is US pace.

And if you think what I wrote was simply a synopsis then either you didn't bother to read it are you're not quite sure what a synopsis is.

Can you show me where I gave away what the writers are going yo do?

Her name is Ima. She was obsessed with Jax for a while and eventually slept with him in Season 3 which led to Gemma and Tara's hatred of her. Tara then shot her car.
Then she was arrested with a few of the other girls for prostitution and said that Jax was her boss, drawing unwanted attention from Charming PD.
She also slept with Opie while he was married to Lyla.

That was hard to watch. I wonder what the significance of the kid storyline is beyond him likely being Dave Navarros son?

The kid looks a bit too blond and pale... maybe the mother had a fling with Jax we don't yet know about. ;)

I dont know where to start in describing that, a few days later and its still all being digested.
Darko and Penn have nailed it earlier in the thread on what is happening.

All seeming well in Teller-Morrow, and then the world turned upside down again.
Bobby is certainly up to something, looks likely that he is trying to set up the NOMAD charter again, especially given that he was talking to the ex-NOMAD and Juice was filling in the MC rules on setting up a charter, and Bobbys cartography session.
Jax also mentioned that giving up Tig would leave him with not enough numbers for his charter, so if Tig, Bobby and Juice do leave Samcro, the parent charter could disband....effectively the end of SOA.
Rat is also had more of a part this episode than before so I'd expect him to get patched in soon.

Clay looks to be turning rat as well, I'd say if he went into Gen-Pop in Stockton, he would have lasted about 2 minutes. It all depends on what info he gives up.
But, it's a bit odd that Toric has so much info about the set up and pieced it all together. I also wasn't expecting the whole Jesus-Heroin twist we got with him.

The gun from the massacre will definitely lead back to SOA, and given the severity, there will be likely to be a huge crackdown on them from every law enforcement agency.....i reckon one of which will find the body in the bay that Tig dumped and snowball from there.

Tara also surprised me with her stance in the clink, there will have to be some old ladies in the clink, so there should be some protecion for her if she stays locked up.

so much more to talk about, but getting tired of typing at this stage.

I think it is way too early for this...

And don't write off Clay yet. Jax said, "Clay would do anything to stay alive." I'd say, he'll do anything to take back what he believes is rightfully his, the club and his old lady (without them he is nothing). Which of course would mean that Jax has to go away and Gemma needs to be taught a good lesson re turning against her old man. He might be well tucked away for the moment but he is still the most ruthless and dangerous enemy.

I meant the end of the club, rather than the show ;)

I get the feeling the club will be gutted and destroyed, but then rebuilt as a clean living MC as the final scene of the show (or wrap up movie) with Gemma/Peg/Katey Segal on the soundtrack.

The show had two new prospects, if they're patched in losing Tig won't lose them their chapter.

I think Rat is the only prospect now.

Filthy Phil has already been patched in, and Juice took out the other fella when trying to cover his tracks in the cola sample that he took.

From what I remember when they discussed prospects before in the show, the charter rules were that they had to put in a year first before being consider to be patched.

That would be about right for most MC's.

But I thought I seen two prospects this week.

by any chance did you bang your head watching the show?
it may have given you double vision

There is a second prospect. I think his name is V-Lin. He was in the latter half of Season 4 and some of Season 5 as well.

Tara filing for divorce? Oh noes! ;)

Jax should have blown the junkie's head off right there and then (Sorry, man, the heat of the moment... blah blah). The betrayal of Nero was a bad move and will come back to haunt him soon.

Meanwhile, Bobby will sit and watch as tears go by... still can't figure out what he's up to. Nothing good, I suppose.
