    What?, I seen two prospects.

In the latest episode Chibs said, "I need you to grab some of the prospects". Meaning, they have at least three or four at their disposal.

With the miraculous appearance of prospects in abundance it seems, Jax had a change of heart. Real pity, Tig was such an important character for the show. :(

Well, Tig was always a loose cannon but he had done a lot worse than drowning a torture porn producer in a bathtub filled with urine. And RoboCop took sufficiently care of the Iranian, I doubt if he will become a problem ever again. ;)

SOA is becoming a little jaded for me ~ I'll be shortly leaving it to the SOA/SAMCRO t-shirt/hoodie wearing brigade.

Or I'll give it awhile and watch a few episodes together, its just gone a little too slow foe me now.

    Slow?

I'd consider three murders and a drive-by shooting in one episode above average, even by SoA standards. I mean, you can't have a school massacre every week, that would be a bit too much to stomach.

I'm probably just bored with the whole thing at this stage, I usually have the attention span of a gold fish so the show has done very well to hold it this long :)

    feel Kind of the same
Its a good show and I keep watching but i think its dragged on a bit too long
5 seasons was enough to wrap it up, i feel we are seeing the same things again with different characters and gangs
i think there is a season 7 coming as well :(
i think losing opie charcater was a major blow to show and now tigs as well maybe, opie and jax partnership was the core of the gang/show its not quite the same

    rant over.

There is an air of "Do or Die" now. I think they really could wrap things up in this season.
You've got a loose canon with a personal vendetta against the club, who's even got the backing of officials.
The school shootings have put a spotlight on the guns business, and the IRA don't care about it.
No reconciliation between Clay & Jax where the club is involved.
Bobby is up to ... something

There just seems a lot of potential to make this season the final one.

Yes, there will be definitely one more season. Sutter said, seasons 6 & 7 will be the final act of the drama.

Of course, Tigs is not dead yet though it's hard to see him getting out of this predicament. But if he can somehow manage to eliminate Pope's crew it would take a lot of pressure from Clay.

As for Opie's departure, after Clay killing his wife and father, there was just no way for both Opie and Clay to remain in the picture, one had to go and Clay is just too good a villain.

its just unending misery and horrbile violence :/

    is she really pregnant

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,835 ✭✭✭Torqay

    is she really pregnant

I don't think she is. She had this chat with here boss at the Hosptal in the previous episode, "I need some blood work done confidentially, I need a pregnancy test". Since when are blood tests on public record? Chances are, she's faking it.

But what is Tara playing at? Jax going to send his "pregnant" wife away as a measure of protection when the heat is building up?

And what is Wendy up to? Faking an attack to talk Gemma out of an unregistered pistol (although she didn't exactly ask for it, Gemma could have talked to Jax and he might have sent a few lads to rough up "Luiz" some).

I hope this isn't the end of Tig but I'd be surprised if he can shoot his way out of it. Surely Pope's crew would be expecting him to be armed so I'd imagine they'd have enough people there to handle him. About the only thing I could see him being able to do is to turn on Jax and tell Pope's crew that he killed Pope with Jax while framing Clay. That'd take the pressure off Clay and could make things a bit more interesting.

Yep, pretty much the only way for Pope's crew to figure out the truth, will it save Tig though? Probably not.

Decent episode, didn't see that coming with Clay.

Im shocked, a really well paced episode with a lot of unexpected surprises.

I guess my expectations of standards has been dropped to subterranean levels after watching the end of Dexter!

Savage episode in what appears to be the "Let's mow down the Nazis" week on US television. ;)

Otto butchering the US Marshal was just epic. Clay seemed to be genuinely sorry. Things falling apart rapidly, the MC lost two more members. And Gemma made it clear, these are "MY KIDS!"

This I doubt, Tara filing for divorce but she certainly wants to keep the boys. I believe Wendy is playing along to get the guardianship in Tara's will and then kill two birds with a stone: kill Tara with the pistol that can be traced to Gemma and become the legal guardian. Even with Tara dead, Gemma (who tried to OD Wendy in season 1) would never surrender her kids to Wendy based on a goddamn piece of paper.

What an episode!! Sutter pulled it out of the bag with Otto slaying Torric. I will miss Torric now though, he was a great character.

Jax seems to be losing his grip with the others I reckon, there is serious doubt amongst Chibbs as to Jax's actions and intents. Chibbs recognises this as he has seen it before with Clay.

Was also glad to see Tigs too, he is too badass a character to lose. Sad to see the prospects go but we did need a bodycount ha ha!!

Loving this show more and more!!

I'm somewhat surprised that we lost Torric so early into the season. The DA lady has now lost her most valuable asset to solve the school massacre and pin it on SAMCRO, so I don't think much will come of it. But TBH, I'll miss Otto more... he didn't even need his tongue for his own "I watched Jane die" moment, only this one was even more vicious.

Not just with Chibs, I don't think Tig really bought Jax assurance that all is good between him and Jax (the prospects never showed up, instead he faced Pope's crew as the bait in a "loyoalty test"). Though Jax "saved" Tig's life and got him off the hook, he could not know this (and he certainly did not expect to Tig ever again).

"Filthy" Phil was not a prospect, he had been patched last season.

Sons of Anarchy Season 6 Episode 4 "Wolfsangel"
    random thoughts

When Tigs turned up at start I assumed he wiped out the "pope" crew and escaped

Jax played the "old IRA is good IRA" card LOL

T1000(robert Patrick) has made an appearance Robocop might get jealous
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CvSdz3uGbkc#t=10

unrelenting griminess and slaughter continues getting like eastenders
I think they need a happy episode a BBQ or something.

    Surprised Toric went down

    True IRA business Plan
    1: Business partners refuse business
2: Kill and mutilate some of them
    3: ???
    4: profit

I think they should have kept Opie and wrapped up the Clay Arc and then gone in a new direction for season 6 IMO

The whole Clay-Jax thing has dragged on , maybe they cannot thing of a new ideas or Arc

Opie was only a secondary character, if anyone has to "wrap up the Clay Arc" then it should be Jax.

Sutter explains the premature departure of Lee Torric:
You were probably expecting Lee Toric (Donal Logue) to be around for the full season — so were Logue and Sutter. The friends had long wanted to work together and finally thought they had their window, so they went for it. Unfortunately Logue, who’s contracted to be a series regular in season 2 of History’s Vikings, had to leave much sooner than anticipated to begin shooting that show in Ireland in June. “Donal felt awful,” Sutter says. “We had set up this season-long arc for this character, and suddenly I didn’t have the actor. It’s just sort of the nature of the business, and so, what I always try to do when that stuff happens is say, ‘Okay, how do I turn a negative into a positive?’ That’s happened to us before where we lost actors and had to make changes, and ultimately, we managed to do it fairly seamlessly and sometimes it even works to the benefit of the show…. In Season 3, we couldn’t make a deal with the actor who played David Hale [Tyler Sheridan], so that character ended up going away, and what we were able to do is put a lot of that onto Unser [Dayton Callie], and that’s really what blew up that character. I’m so glad I was able to do that because he’s become such an integral part of the show.”

    More here.

I've noticed Chibs has a new pin on his cut (by the fastening ) but can anyone make out the (older) pin above his left breast pcoket?.

I can't seem to make it out (the one above the Redwood patch).

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,835 ✭✭✭Torqay

    You mean this?

I can't make it out, but Clay had as well.
