iPod connection for 2005 Ford Focus 6000CD stereo

Has anyone any experience connecting their iPod to the 6000CD standard ford stereo for a MK2 focus? I'm guessing you can connect a lead to the back of the stereo buy is there a way to run the lead through without drilling a hole in the dash?

I can't say for the Focus specifically, but they generally exit into the glovebox.
