    I would like to quit smoking- i smoke in excess of 20 a day-
    when i wake up in the morning its the first thing i do-
    if i need a fag before bed and don't have one i cant sleep
    when i wake in the morning my lung capacity feels like about 10%

    i have smoked properly now for about 5 years and its killing me and my pockets-

    I have tried:

    cold turkey

    gum

    patches

    allan carr x 2

    i smoke most of the time even though i dont need to- i could quit but i constantly need to have my hands busy so its either shaking or fidgeting or coffee and a fag and i prefeer the coffee and fag.

    does anyone have any other ideas that aren't hypnosis???

    Best of luck when you decide to stop.
    I've a thread going here, have a read you may find it interesting.
    What worked for me was the thought of dying a slow, painful death and the fact that financially Im broke.
    What I also found is there's millions of way to give up but that's not the hard part, the hard part is finding the right reason.
