Clubs are soul destroying. Pubs all the way, have had three dates this month cos I asked guys out. Maybe they could start doing the same?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,165 ✭✭✭✭brianthebard

Pfft, if girls are already asking guys out why would guys bother doing the work??

  • Users Awaiting Email Confirmation Posts: 206 ✭✭Creachadóir

Well I'm in my mid-20's and of late I've had a Galway guy ask me out via a mutual friend:rolleyes: and I mean the mutual friend was texting on his behalf and stuff. And now come to think of it, he's older than me, in his late 20's. Ya, think us girls are going to have to have a bit of back bone when it comes to these things in Galway....

    Hmm... I rest my case!

I was (by accident) at a junior chamber of commerce meeting recently. Plenty of fine looking young women there. I'm thinking of joining.

Or you could sign up for some class or other? This is the time of the year.
    Or toastmasters or whatever.

Or just come work in the big technology company I work for: the men are mostly young (25-35) and outnumber the women 10:1

Ya, unfortunetly i work in a predominantly female workplace so i might just start hanging around industrial estates, see what i see... Joke... Not that bad.... Yet :)

Ya. Can't figure out if he's shy or not actually interested and the friend is just stirring. I wouldn't mind so much except I get on really well with him and was hoping he was interested and he seemed interested. But ya, don't know if I could deal with someone who had their friend sort out their love life. Should I take this to PI :pac: Worst thing is I've kissed him a few times. Men!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,165 ✭✭✭✭brianthebard

Clearly galway men have no balls.

  • Registered Users Posts: 55 ✭✭moonlight06

this is 2008 and if us women want equal rights then we have too play a equal game, so make a move and ask him

as for galway men have no balls i dont belive that, but i have yet too experience !!! but i have seen plently of teabags, and i have too say barrys are good!!!

stop looking. all the time you look you will never find,
open yourself too possibilities yes join new gropus widen your circle, but never actually look!!
things happen when they happen , could be in a supermarket anywhere
but clubs worldwide by the veyr nature arent the place really
    grab and shag shops lol
    have fun socialising :)

I totally agree and have to say in comparasion to lots of places people in Galway are approachable and freindly!

Being single allevates you from obligations and responsibilities to anyone but yourself - and if your looking it not only seeps of desperation but stunts you from enjoying what are possibly the best days of your life.

If your searching for it too much chances are you ll end up with someone thats unworthy. Go out have fun and if your really into meeting someone join a dating site- have on good authority they work!

imo at the risk of being positively annoying worse places and things in the world then being single in galway! :)
