Harris Bipods

I'm buying a Harris swivel bipod from Opticswarehouse and just wondering whether to get the L-Prone 9-13 inch or the LM-Prone Notched 9-13 inch.

Whats the difference between the notched and straight leg ?

Also- would the prone or medium be better for hunting ?

Do these bipods fit onto CZ rifles no problem ?

They will fit on the front swivel on your gun. The notched type spring out and click into place at different lengths. I have a 6"-9" for benchrest use @6" and the 13"-27" for out in the field. Both are good choices.

Got mine from them, get it sent by us postal service, as it tends to avoid the dreaded duty charges.
Anything I order from them tends to arrive within 2 weeks.

I've heard that the notched arent great

I have a 9-13" swivel and would go with anything else find prone to be perfect for most things swivel is a must

Didn't like the feel of them. You can adjust the length easy on the non-notched types anyway.
Cheapest were about £65 but can't remember the name, in the UK now back tomorrow. Let you know he name of the UK shop later.

Ok the Harris bi-pod is £65 for the 2 smaller SWIVEL models and £75 for the 13-27 SWIVEL model. Non-swivel models are £45.

BUT they are phone or mail order only. I'm only looking at thier add in the Gun Mart magizine and have never dealt with them.
After those them I think Opticswarehouse are next cheapest and are good to deal with IF THEY HAVE IT IN STOCK. Always phone/E-mail them first as I do.
