    Hi all,

I need to turn off the passengers airbag in my 00 VW passat so the little one can travel in the passengers seat.

Does anyone know how to do this or do I need to take it to a garage?

    Cheers,
    Ted.

Your 2000 Passat requires the airbag to be deactivated via a diagnosis tool. (you may need a resistance inserted too). There is no switch in the car that will deactivate it.

I assume that the 'little one' will be rear facing.....?
