Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    i dont do it but i think you back comb it as you would with the previous style, and then lightly brush down the very top layer of hair - it will make just the top layer look smooth..

    but then again i dont do it & tbh am not 100% sure i even know what your on about but thats what came to mind :)

    I've wondered that too, I thought they might be back combing it but it looks nice and smooth. Is back combing your hair really bad for it?

    I think a lot of them are getting a good blow-dry! That can get volume and body into your hair

    its back combing.
    most of my friends do it.
    then use a comb to back comb it usually puting some styling spray(not sure what it is) or hair spray into it while its crazy and big then a few minutes later then lightly comb the top of it down so as it looks vlumised and neat not like a birdsnest.
    a lot of hairspray is used though.

    well depends on your actual hair...

    I use moose, blowdry upside down, back-comb and tease hair into style u want ...little bit of hairspray too!! And sleep on it too!! But DO NOT brush hair fully, just lightly over top!!! unless u wanna look like ugly betty ;)
    Kinda alot of work everyday tho!! But nice for going out =P

    Pretty easy.
    Take the top layer of your hair, clip it up. Then, with a comb, backcomb all the under layer of hair, a lot. Yeah, it's bad for your hair but stick a load of conditioner in and it'll be fine. Then when you drop the top layer back down, it covers the back combed bits and so looks nice and smooth, but yet BIG!

    My explaining sucks just there, sorry!

    Yes!

    I think Novella has explained it well there, they always seem to have a piece clipped over, and looks very well done sometimes!

    Could be "Bump It" hairclips;

    You just put your own hair over the "bump" hairclip to give volume.
