Would def be up for it alright.

Could i suggest a different location tho?

Its just really hard to get a space in sallys you need to be in there pretty early (not to sound old and grumpy) but the music does be blaring and can be hard to have a conversation with a group of people.

Oh and most important of all the pints are fair bad in there

Which would be the most centrally located or on main street?

Saw pubs called Donaghues and Caseys are down the end of main street by Market Square. Not sure if they quiet or loud places either..

Guys just wanted to share my great news! Hell i reckon any good news is amazing in this "RECESSION"!!!

I applied for the Hibernia teacher training course there a few weeks ago and had my interview last thurs. I got confirmation that i have been given a place! Im over the moon!!! It's given me an even bigger incentive to go for a few beers! So im really looking forward to the 19th, il prob head out between now and then but still. More reason to go for a few!!!

Just had to share my excitement! :)

Molllys in the Heritage hotel all of the other are loacted on the main street.

Donaghues and Caseys are lovely pubs but a much older crowd average age probably around 60, AFAIK Donaghues has a dress code of a shirt and tie and it pretty well enforced:rolleyes:

I'm not sure I'd be willing to go down the shirt and tie route on a Saturday evening!! Even to celebrate Ruby's great news (from one teacher to hopefully another!!)

Should we say Mollys @ Heritage then? To meet at anyway. We can always move on from there.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 298 ✭✭Kenteach

Yeah, we should just pick a meeting point for starters, can go anywhere after that.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,257 ✭✭✭Ruby-J

Lol whereabouts is mollys? Is that inside the heritage?

Mollys is grand to meet up and have few drinks, not the most exciting pub in world but sure coppers is only around the corner if mood takes over later on!
