So I went in to view my Physics HL paper today, which I failed.

    120 marks out of 400 is a pass, 40%.

I got 119, and was failed. Ouch.

Im sending to get a recheck, whats my chances of being bumped up?

I'd say 99/100 you'll get it brought up to a pass.....

You must have gotten a stingy corrector first time...

    EDIT...120 out of 400 isn't 40% though, is it?

Pretty good, I'd imagine, I picked out maybe 5 questions which were so ambiguous that a teacher teaching Physics for 10 years would have struggled to get an A1.

    40% of 400 is 160.
