Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Producer of the first and second radio series of Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Geoffrey Perkins has died.

Along with HHGTTG, he produced and sometimes starred in several comedy hits of the eighties and nineties, along with being a former BBC Head of Comedy.

As a starring role, I remember him as Mike Flex in Radio Active and its TV spin-off, KYTV.

    R.I.P.

He was hit by a truck, possibly after collapsing and falling into its path. Only 55, which is way too young to die.

    RIP

Saw it on the Harry Enfield/Paul Whitehouse show:

"He was a great producer, a clever writer...but a terrible actor"

    Fitting tribute.
