Aluminium cans.. for a solar collector

Can aluminium cans be purchased from a recycling center ? Or would anyone know a subsititute that could be purchased ? I don't drink a lot of cans!

There is one manufacture in Denmark I think .. trying to get a price in Ireland is like pulling teeth probably very expensive anyhow

don't forget that it will radiate heat too, so you only want the fan on when it's actually sunny
