    picked up my "new" gun there yesterday, but just got the one external choke tube with her, cant even ascertain if its full, half or what ever.
    does anyone know if the choke tubes out of a beretta 303 fit in this gun?

    also what choke and load would be best for someone staring out with clays?

    thanks

    Are you sure it's not a 302 as I thought the 301 had fixed chokes...anyway from what I know the 302 had an over barrell thread where as the 303 has an internal (mobil choke) and I don't think it will fit.

    In relation to the type of choke cartridge for clays I used to shoot 1/2 choke 7.5 when I was shooting clays with the auto.

    In relation to identifying what chikes you have see below:

    ' 1 notch = F = (Full)
    '' 2 notchs = IM (improved modified) = ¾
    ''' 3 notchs = (M)odified = ½
    '''' 4 notchs = IC Improved cylinder = ¼
    ''''' 5 notchs = C Cylinder = 0
    S = S= SK = Skeet

    Hope this helps

    sound thanks for that.
    yeah its definitely a 301 and definitely multi choke.
    its an external one but still requires a key/wrench.
