Very heavy rain for a time this morning. The drainage I put into the garden was well tested :) Stopped raining now but still dull. 12.3C.

Mostly cloudy with intermittant sunshine, pretty windy. Was in Dublin earlier and the sun was splitting the stones and much warmer.
Amazing the floods earlier given the small amounts of rain that fell , only measured 14mm here.

because i enjoy seeing heavy rain fall and would like to some puddles around the place. I enjoy inclement weather events.

Anyway the rain has stopped now, it's coming in showery bursts.

Started drizzling here about an hour ago, that might be what you are seeing to the south, seems to be getting heavier , radar looks like we may get another decent dose of rain tonight though. Temperature plummeting here, now 12.3°C

Dull and windy, not as windy as yesterday though.

Has been some patcy rain, just about enough to wet the ground.

Rain arrived here just before lunchtime

    Mike.

Rain seems to be getting more persistent here now, still very light though.

Rain is fragmenting more and more the further east its getting on the Met radar.

Rain on and off most of the afternoon, mostly light in nature with occasional moderate bursts. very autumnal feel to the day. Heating will go on shortly i think.

Wind is fairly howling outside with low clouds zipping across the sky. Pretty miserable evening...
