Is that near the Cappagh House by any chance? I passed there earlier and there was LOADS of people around, Gardaí and an 'ambulance', not an ordinary ambulance, it was more like a silver van with a green light on top and the word 'ambulance' on the front. Think its what they use for removal of bodies...

Yea thats the one, a little further down towards the church on the opposite side of the road, the fella had a heart attack, a little too much sniff I suspect????

And to the other bird who was moaning about parked cars, he was from kippure park.

Just passed a cop check point at the valeview end of cardfisbridge road.Three of them were armed and they were quizzing a car load of scrubbers and a taxi.

Personally, i think the police presence is great, it is about time.

Having lived in Finglas for 4 years, the police presence and service has been non-existant. Trying to get them out to your house was a nightmare so hopefully now we will have a real police service in the area

To be honest, went through the same thing in the North Inner City after the recent gang war around Sherrif Street. It was a pain in the arse going through constant garda check points and getting stopped coz your a male in your 20's, and the police chopper was a nightmare every night, but it was a deterent because they were out in force. Wouldn't be surprised if we only have 1 armed response unit and it will all kick off again in the Inner City now that they have been shifted out to Finglas.

The cops know who these people are,the courts are no deterrent to them.
South american style death squads would soon sort the problem out.
Shoot em and dump em somewhere public.
Or torture them and shoot em.
