Looking for a bar in the city that plays classic rock

    I've only been in Cork a week, but I'm eager to sort out my local. Preferably somewhere that fits the bill outlined above.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Tried Preachers there at the weekend and wasn't impressed.

    Looks like Fred Zeppelin's is the only place that fits the bill but apparently it's rough as fook if you believe the people I've asked.

    Are they right?

    maybe check the Whiskey they do some good stuff

    Ian Richards, probably the best DJ here, was doing a wicked classic rock night on Thursdays in the Slate but i'm not sure if it's still on
