Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

word 2000 on vista home basic

    hello..can anybody give me a definitive answer on this please?

    i have office 2000 installed on a vista home basic os.. all apps were working till recently but now when i try to open word it just hangs and won't open up...

    i have been through numerous forums and helpdesks looking for a solution and have tried various solutions e.g. normal.dot - which does not seem to be on my system anyway (even when i show hidden files etc..)

    now i read that vista doesn't really support office 2000 (even though excel is working fine)..is this the case?

    or is there anything else i can try to get word working??

    any help would be greatly appreciated....

    cant say ive delt with this hands on myself but have you tried detect and repair either from help menu in word or from control panel?
