Use of calculators in the Acca exams

    Hi

ACCA has given 15 minutes reading time at the begining of the exams which is really helpful. I sat my exams in the RDS in June and an announcement was made that calculators could not be used during the 15 minutes reading time. I have just read through my lecture notes and they say that this time can be used to read, make notes on question paper and make some calculations.

Can anyone shed some light on this or know who i would get in touch with in ACCA ireland or UK. I would like to get clarification before I sit the exams in december.

I will be sitting F7 and F9 in dec if anyone wants to compare notes.

    Thanks in advance
