Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Mate has an old PC which he uses for basic things like surfing the net and writing letters etc. He has Norton 2001 on it - its obviously now looking for subscription for some time). Can anyone recommend me a free antivirus for Windows ME?

You'll not find one that gives updates, Microsoft stopped supporting ME years ago. TBH tell him 2 get a new pc as that pc's not worth anything

Avast (http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html) is compatible with ME.

It is known that avast is memory hungry. Will the pc run it? How much ram is there in the pc anyway?

For 200 eur he could probably find a new PC that would run 3 times faster than that old bucket.
