Coloured volcanic deposits on the side of the lake - probably looks a bit over-PP'ed, but its actually the closest I could get to the genuine colours as seen by eye

I also tried a few shots of spiders, but i found that the beasts looked so big in the viewfinder that I'd invariably scream like a girl if they moved

Saved this from a very underexposed shot. The heat was keeping the big cats down and out, only occassionally would this guy poke his head out.

Yeah great shot to get shiny.We had crazy lightning storms this time last year in Amalfi,incredible to watch.Amazing place - pity they don't know how to party though!

I'v seen a few of these guys around lately,weird looking,never seen them before in Ireland. They have a really cool pattern on their body.

They're everywhere at the moment. I can't recall seeing them before either. Having said that, they're called 'Garden Spider' apparently so they can't be all that unusual with a name like that

This female duck in St. Stephen's green was being viciously attacked by a much larger male duck. I didn't want to horrify anyone by showing her full wounds, but the photo is on my Flickr page if there's anyone brave enough.
