yep, rubbing it in! You have made me want to shoot nothing but macro recently. Your images are an inspiration for me to learn/try something new.

It's almost nice, sky is, some of the trees ruin it.
But I think I woulda did the same as you and been pleasantly surprised with it and prob would have upped it too.

Not at all Yogi! I've never shot proper macro shots, other than close ups of boring subjects. Been thinking about it for a while now so seeing your pics has made me get up off my ass and give it a try.

Thank god the Sun is back after yesterdays horrible weather. Just noticed the tree outside our front window is starting to get its autumn colours

Funnily enough we weren't going that quickly, most of them at 15-20mph tops, and nearly stopped at this one. Long exposures and the brains perception of what speed looks like do funny things!:)

These were taken as a camera club assignment/competition on long exposure with the camera clamped to the back window, me hanging onto the strap for dear life on the back seat, trying to make adjustments on the fly, Mrs. dakar driving and dakar jnr. (then aged 3) pitching in with advice from his car seat (eg 'good lights coming up Daddy, press it NOW!'). A real family affair and one of my first really dedicated attempts to get a particular shot instead of just having the camera around!
