    Anyone else having problems logging onto the conncet email system? All that comes up now is a calender when I click on email. Am I missing something? I'm doing Erasmus this year and am meant to have recieved emails about my accomodation so bit stressed about it. Anyone shed any light?:confused: xx

    You can still get your email with Outlook, or equivalent, if you really need it.

    working perfectly fine for me, although theres some parts still messed up from when i first saw my connect account..

    I've noticed it's breaking down a lot more since they upgraded connect.

    Direct link to the mail system:
    http://imap.ucd.ie/

    To use MS Outlook, Thunderbird or Apple Mail
    System type: IMAP
    Incoming server: imap.ucd.ie
    Outgoing (or SMTP) server: mail.ucd.ie
    Use authentication on SMTP: Yes

    It does not work Red Alert, the calendar still comes up. Not your fault, the 'geniuses' in IT are to blame. The new way does not have the email in the middle of the screen anymore, the 'upgrade' of blackboard last year added nothing and inconvenienced us all for nearly 3 weeks.

    maybe its working for me because i changed the default page that loads at the start...must be some fault on the home page..

    ok i dunno how the hell im getting it to work! try disabling javascript, maybe thats the reason its working for me? or maybe my account just happened to be spared..

    Still not working. It only comes up with the calender. Also in Imap. Really frustrating.

    UCD Email is still down but here's how you can temporarily access your email:

    For staff:

    http://staffmail2.ucd.ie:6777/


    For students:

    http://studentmail2.ucd.ie:6777


    Works fine.

    In Connect, you can still get into it where it says"To access your UCD e-mail, click here"...just have to log in there and am assuming the two links above are that thing in Conneect. Just dont click the icon one.

    EMail is still down through UCD connect, but you can login using the links provided by Preusse above.

    Email should work now without the links. I tried it with Imap and Connect and both work fine now.
