cant post and cant log in, but am logged in????

Help, I recently logged on and was posting a reply on humaities, i then went in to edit it and when i tried to repost i was asked for my username etc. and when i entered them i was told invalid, but in the top right corner it had welcome carlybabe. I logged out and tried to reenter but to no avail, wats goin on
