Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Downloaded it a couple of minutes ago.
So far I'm really liking it, except it seems to be a bit slower than firefox. Or I might just be imagining that.
    I love the spellcheck feature!

It gives the impression that it's very fast while maybe not being so? I'm not too keen on the multicolored addresses but I've not really gone into it in details.

I love the positioning of the tab and address bars.

I like the browser so far but early days.

I notice it couldn't parse http://www.breakingnews.ie/text/ while firefox could.

I also have noticed that it is FUGLY.

Seems pretty speedy to me, sorely lacking in features but is early days I suppose.
If they put an ad blocker and mouse gestures on there I'd be happy to use it exclusively.

I really like the look and feel, the web page takes up most of the real estate of the desktop which is how it should be imho.

This will be very good very soon I think.

Doesn't work for me at all on my work machine. Every new process crashes.

I'll have to try it at home so...

I've got that open in IE, FF & Chrome and all of them work the same.

Other than that it seems to be working fine but not played with it too much just yet.

i cant authenticate to either igoogle or gmail... every time i access either site it hangs.

i'd say its a problem with my laptop/proxy/lan/wan but still... bravo google :pac:

Just installed this, hugely impressed so far. Like the clarity and lack of clutter, everything is loading quicker for me too. Also, the incognito mode...basically made for looking up porn!?

Only thing annoying me so far is the speed it scrolls down when i use my touchpad...too fast

If you use Symantec Endpoint Protection 11 (like on my work computer) it won't work at all. Sounds like what you're experiencing Seamus.

    they have my:
    • email - also checking my o2.ie mail too.
    • search history - they know far too much about me.
    • Interests - web comics, blogs, hardware blogs and it news... all care of igoogle
    • google documents:work out progress, finances, wedding planning, study plan etc
    • Calendar: they know when im getting married and what i have planned for the next 6 weeks.

they can have my scattered porn searching, 4chan reading and boards surfing aswell for all i care :)

There's a workaround for people stuck with the Symantec Endpoint Protection problem - run chrome.exe with the following switch:

    chrome.exe --no-sandbox

Of course, this breaks the whole security model of Chrome but at least you can still get a look at the browser. I'm posting this message from it and I have to say that javascript heavy sites like boards.ie do seem to render much faster. Nice.
