Hi all, I'm looking for some advice on purchasing an Irish Draught for breeding. I have an idea of what I'm looking for but not that sure on price ranges or breeding line to focus on. Ideally looking for a grey - old type RID mare, that has already had at least 1 foal. Age is not really an issue.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Put an add in the 'horses wanted' section in the Irish Field.

Just taught that I'd post that I'd got what I was looking for. Bought at Goresbridge ( highest price of sale :( but worth it... I think). I went to Cavan as well and if I was after a filly I would have been in business. Prices were bad... but good for someone buying.
