That wasn't by Kraftwerk, it was an Austrain guy called Falco.

Would be a pretty funny tune to play though! :)

Nice to know you got the jist of the post...........cheers

Hmm, really does depend on the type of session.

A bit of Irish folk can always be good on most occasions tbh.

Galway Girl has been a bit of craic over the summer so I'd probably ask the bollix to play that.

i think an acoustic guitar at a party is a horrible idea, always reminds me of animal house when john belushi smashes the guy's guitar. Music at parties should strictly be either a good sound system with good music (eg. hot chip) or a decent band, not a solo guitarist but a proper band, drums, bass, etc. Last thing you want is some knob on an acoustic guitar singing sweet home alabama!

Depends entirely on the party. If decks are there then it's Drum and Bass and Dubstep all night. Maybe some Psytrance. It it's more a relaxed group of friends then usual they will call for the musically inclined to break them out and we'll throw a mini gig.

    Good craic.

the worst is when some old tit recites one of those emotional poems, and ends up crying near the end. Way to go and kill the buzz you tard.

You know who I'd like to drop the hell dead...

People who outline their computer's spec in their signature.

Honestly, people care less about that than the A***holes who play guitars at parties.

Oooh, somebody's not a happy camper! lol

Muse, REM, Johnny Cash and The Kooks are usually safe bets when people actually want to hear you play. I've never had the audacity to make people listen to me during a party. Yet... :P

Not something the next generation will need to worry about.

They'll be playing Guitar Hero at parties.

    :pac:
