Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

laptop crashes on close/ explorer.exe crashing all the time

    My laptop crashes badly every time i close the lid (closed lid hibernates it) or when i leave it open and the power supply plugged out it crashes on hibernate. this started happening out of the blue a few months ago, for no reason whatsoever. it shows the blue screen of death, dumps the memory then restarts with the safe mode option.

    explorer.exe also keeps crashing (taskbar freeze) and i must restart it.

    its vista home basic. i put sp1 on it last week, but i dont know if the taskbar problem started after that, but it was around the same time.


    any ideas?

    You happen to have the blue screen error code by any chance?
