Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Didn't get to play it last night.. Really looking forward to this. Its great to see games like this that are fun...

I was hugly dissapointed with GT5p on the PS3.. It was damn boring. The RD Grid came along and it was great fun, way way way better than GT5

    Whens Pure due for release??

Wow - this game was not even on my radar but now I'm thinking it could be a day one purchase. Tons of fun and it seems to have some Burnout elements (like the boost bar but the overall tone too) which is a good thing in my book. Haven't enjoyed a demo so much in a long time...

Fun little demo alright - great graphics and fun gameplay (like the way the trick system works). Does seem to have 'borrowed' a lot from Burnout though - stuff like the game over screen and the video intro in particular. Still a very solid demo though.

Didnt know what to expect from it when I was downloading the demo, but I'm blown away by it. Its just so much fun! Definitely going to buy it when it comes out. Release date is the 26th I believe?

It is indeed - looking forward to it myself - Play.com has it listed at €41.99 too so I'm hoping the price will be similar around town as well:

Not a hope! it'll be at least €55 euro in shops, that's as good as guaranteed!

I never realised that when u press the shoulder buttons while pulling a A B or Y trick gives u a variation of that trick... U get a tonne of boost for it too

I've found Smiths to have good prices on most new games and with the 10% discount (if you have a loyalty card) on the first week of release, I've seen many games come close to the Play.com prices. Beyond that, I think the prices are defined (at least in part) by manufacturers - so Pure is probably not released as a "full" price €60 game.

The problem with getting anything off Play is that you won't have it until later in the week - which sucks when a game is released on a Friday!

Gamestop are the most overpriced of them all I think - I avoid them like the plague. Game comes in as a close second. The only problem with Smyths is that for any of the "big" titles (like Halo, GOW, etc) you have to pre-order or else you do not have a chance of getting a copy on release. Still, they don't take any deposits for pre-orders so it's well worth it anyway.

AGGGH! don't get me started on Gamestop! they gave someone i know €25 trade in for Unreal 3 and sold it for €55, they also gave 40c each trade in for several dvds that they then sold for as high as €14.99. That's some markup!

    Cheeky fecks they are!

I'll keep staying well away from them then :). As far as brick-and-mortar stores go, I think Smyths is the best of the bunch (which is ironic that essentially a toy store is a better place to buy software than the so-called "specialist" stores) or else online (especially Play-Asia if the game you want will be available region free).

Have to say that i really enjoyed the demo aswell, hadnt paid any attention to the game until i saw this thread.

as reviewers have said, its quiet like SSX and thats good in my book!
