    does anyone know any good sites or forums or other places where I could download albums for free. I'm looking for sites that would have a good selection of irish artists, i know where i can all the more popular stuff.

    I'm going to assume you are talking about legal downloads. Bar a handful of exceptions, I don't believe there are many bands that give their albums away for free.

    www.3hive.com is a good place to start. Never encountered any Irish stuff there, though.
