Basketball in City centre?

anybody know if there are any places in town where you can just go down and hop into a game....I often see some african lads strolling around near Phibsboro with basketballs so I presume there are courts about.

I used to be decent but I have gone to **** as I haven't played since I was 14.

Hey man,

the only place to get a fair game is 'Mountjoy Square'. Check it out on weekends, if the weather is good. With a bit of luck you will get some good players from about two o'clock. Check out the map and you will easily find it.

Every wednesday evening at 7 there is a mixed game of B Ball - down in the IFSC area. it's recreational and mixed abilities.

the hall called Laurence O toole I think - not the most glamorous of spots....

just drop in an join in. all welcome.

Where is that hall..? Wouldnt mind heading down there.. Used to play a lot.. But two bad ankle ligament injuries meant I've not played in over a year..
