Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey Guys,

We are replacing our garage door to a window. Weve bought the window and we have recieved a quote from 2 Polish guys to build it.

They said they would do it for 1 euro per block. Is that a good price ? We want it cheap :p

They'll be delighted with that price!

I paid 90c two months ago.
60c to 70c is now the going rate.

My blocklayer friends would love €1 a block.... the good old days!

mad price. Rkb is right, my brother is a blockie in kilkenny & he would love that, those prices are prices from 2yrs ago. go get an irish man for the job, you should get it done for .70cent but make sure they supply a labourer or you will have to supply 1 and pay him.

Surely there are not many blocks under the window if you are replacing a garage door. It's not as if you are getting a rate for building a house. How many of the above posters would go to all the trouble of visiting a site, getting set up etc. just to lay a few blocks.

for 1 euro a block and all the blocks they will be building, 20 max its hardly worth squabbling over
