Any ideas where I can bring old/waste tyres, like a bring bank. Tyre Dealers/Fitters are not interested or want €5 a piece!
    North Dublin area
    Thanks

I'm sure some farmers would love to take them off your hands.

They're used for holding the plastic in place covering silage in the pits.

Worth a try if you know any farmers near you.

There is at least a €2 recycling charge levied onto the tyre centres

Yep, the local farmer will be happy to take them.
They're used hold down plastic on silage pits as said already
Plenty of farmers in North Dublin area

Hey, Hallowen isn't far off, maybe the local hooligans and youth want them for a bonfire ;)

Speaking as a farmer, I don't think I'd be taking any tyres from anyone. Most will have enough already, and car tyres are rubbish for holding down plastic.
Lorry tyres are much better because they are heavier and can be handled easier by machine.
