My favourite used to be The Sound of Music (cheesy, I know!) but Les Miserables is definitely my favourite after seeing it on stage in London three years ago.

If you like Gene Kelly then get Anchors Aweigh too. If you haven't seen it of course.

Jeese, that movie was just awful.

have seen so many, some i have seen include...the lion king, grease, joseph and the amazing tech..., sound of music, cats, phantom of the opera, hairspray, fiddler on the roof, wicked etc....went to see them all in either london or new york!

my absolute favourite was wicked though and coming second was phantom!

if only ireland had good musicals and an actual reputation for them they could make a fortune! london theatres are always busy when i go!!

I've seen some great musicals in Ireland.

Amateur musical theatre isn't given nearly enough support or credit.

i don`t think you can really look past next to normal , i just love that show !

Next to Normal is a modern masterpiece. Disappointing how so few people have heard of it, perhaps due to its lack of West End version. It seems to be in Scandinavia already though for some odd reason.

    Les Miserables, handsdown winner.

I haven't seen that many musicals but I loved Blood Brothers when I went to see it. Also have dvd of Man of La Mancha, absolutely love it!

My dvds of High Society, Singing in the Rain and Meet me in St Louis have all been burned out and re-bought :)

Rocky Horror in the Grand Canal was fabulous....although an old woman we met in the bathroom hadnt seen the movie and was deeply traumatised! Hilarious :)

Broadway version closes this weekend afaik. That often leads to a London Production, fingers was crossed. I love "My Psychopharmacologist and I" - so clever!
