Hi, I am not sure on this, but in a 7.5 ton recovery truck, do you have to have a tachograph fitted and do you have to use it by law?, I am an owner/driver self employed Thanks

As far as I know, anything over 3.5 Tonne gross requires a Tacho - and a designated Transport Manager (ie CPC) if you're hauling for reward.

Not certain but a heads up for you.
