Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Theres talk of a new owner bringing him back if Ashley goes. And probably get rid of Wise as well.

All discussed in the Newcastle thread.

Most bookies didn't have running on Saturday morning, apart fro Skybet who had him at 66/1. Ever since about 2pm yesterday, his odds have been tumbling. However, Gus Poyet's odd have also been falling like mad, so I don't know what is going on

If there is a takeover, then I would heavily bet KK being reinstalled.

He knows good (but immoral) business sense. Let me explain: Paddy Power is aware of how stupid some people are, and he hopes - by creating these odds - that he will get some money from these said stupid people.

Normally the betting dictates the odds. So people would have had to have been laying heavily on KK at the initial 66-1 and continued to do so as the odds fell. Sometimes they'll offer particularly attractive odds to take in more then their competitors, but not on a whim and not to the extent that these odds have changed. Its more likely to be what Charlie said. A lot of people are more betting on a takeover then on KK specifically, as KK is the logical choice if new owners come in. Ashley's apparant wish to sell for the past while, coupled with the fans hatred of him and his staff following what happened to KK, as well as the apparant interest in Newcastle by outside parties indicates that its a likely course of action.
