    the new subjects I have chosen haven't come up. I was enrolled in Celtic Civ but I dropped out for French. But French hasn't come up, it's still the Celtic one. Is this a problem or do I just change it myself?

    Don't worry about it, they often take some time to update. If it still hasn't after a few days, get on to the relevant office about it.

    Email ITservices and they will sort it out ASAP and without wasting your time by seeing people. Just thoroughly explain your situation.
