Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yes but all that will happen is it will go "Bzzz...". Leaving you to back out of the room embarressed while the scientists look on quizzically. And then you'll have to find a last minute flight home even though you've spent all your savings and maxed out your credit card on coke and hookers.

You see the universe is expanding , but it is also increasing in mass , there was not enough energy and matter for a big bang , also the universe is much older than they think , you see it expands and the mass increases , the earth was once the size of a basketball .

But of course they have yet to discover all this , i already know .

Q: What is the difference between a Quantum Theorist and a Beauty
    Therapist?
A: The Quantum Theorist uses Planck's Constant as a foundation,
whereas the Beauty Therapist uses Max Factor.

And to combine my 2 favourites science and sex

Why are quantum physicists so poor at sex?

Because when they find the position, they can't find the momentum, and when they have the momentum, they can't find the position.

Also there is no higgs boson , they are just messing around , there are probably doing all this for research grants , they make up these theories and then build these particle accelerators and it is really all about money .

I could come up with lots of theories and smash particles into each other , but i would use a sledge hammer , much more cost effective to use a sledge hammer or an axe .

    Ahh Beautiful!

Here's my fav rendition of it.

It suddenly struck me that that tiny pea, pretty and blue, was the Earth. I put up my thumb and shut one eye, and my thumb blotted out the planet Earth. I didn't feel like a giant. I felt very, very small.
