George RR Martin is booked in for next year.

Wouldn't mind getting some stuff signed by him.
(If my Lt Uhura suit still fits).

Popular enough to have run for the last 18 years and have several hundred attendees.

We've typically got 200-300 attendees, and this year we're right in Dublin city centre - The Royal Dublin Hotel, so why not come along?

We're going to have special offers for next year's Convention too, so if any comics fans want to meet Mike Carey, get in line now.

I've been to about eight. Orson Scott Card was my favourite guest of honour.
Do they still have the Ball on the final evening?

This year, we're having a celebration of cinematic abominations, John Vaughan is presenting the Video Vault of Horror, where he treats us to highlights of the worst films this year, with live commentary. That runs until 8.30 ish.
After that we've got a casino event running, roulette, blackjack, poker and Wii gaming on a projector screen - big, big miis. There's also a Fannish Living Room open, where there'll be a rake of games and books for all to peruse.
And lastly, if you're still looking for entertainment after the hotel bar closes, we've made a deal with Goth/Industrial club Dominion, anyone showing their Octocon Badge at the door gets in for 4 euro.

You're getting loads for your membership this year!
