Sushi - Maki Rolls

    I ate a lot of maki while i was travelling.
    Decided to give it a go at home making my own.
    i loved the vegetable ones, but cant decifer what the sweet yellow vegetable
    that was in them.
    Can anyone help ??

    Could it have been Tamagoyaki, or sweet rolled omelette? There's a recipe here.

    Update: Passed by the noodle/sushi stall in Temple Bar Food Market today, they have the same yellow vegetable in their maki, it's actually pickled daikon radish, not egg. You should be able to get this in the japanese aisle in Asia Market on Drury St, or make it yourself :)
