Buying a jersey, need some help

    I want to pick up a jersey, but I don't want it huge and loose, but all the adults jerseys leave room for pads as far as I can tell online, and I wear a size small, sometimes x small in t shirts, so I'm looking to get the jersey in the same size, so I'm thinking a youths size might be the way to go? I've no idea though, that might be tiny? I'm a 36" chest in a suit though and the youths large is 34-36 so that'd probably be what I want, a jersey that fits like a fitted t shirt basically.
